I have a friend who is getting a tooth pulled for Christmas. Daddy is getting an MRI! You may recall that we had an incident at the beach last weekend. After a week of lots of drugs it didn't get much better. Yes, he can now function, but he is still in pain. Monday we call the doc back and he got us in on Tuesday for an MRI! (Usually it takes at least a week to get in, if not longer!) Today we called for results and the doc's office didn't have any yet. We then began to pull our church strings! :) In a matter of minutes we had the source of the pain--a ruptured disk! Yikes!
Update: Now it has been 2 1/2 weeks since the "incident" and we are still trying to get in to see the back doc before we head out for Christmas. Hopefully we will have some treatment answers sooner than later. At least we are flying home! That will make it much better than sitting in the car for HOURS!
