Christmas in November

Christmas is right around the corner. For us that means we will be traveling to be with family very soon! I am so thankful that we are able to go home for the holidays. Even though we will be traveling, we decided we would put up a tree to make the house a bit festive for the season. Daddy was flat on his back, so Nonnie and I put up the tree. I tried to get Little E to help put the ornaments on the tree, but she was more interested in taking them OFF the tree. I put very kid friendly ornaments on the bottom for her to take off and on. Every once in a while I will look over and the bottom half of the tree is empty. Crazy girl!

While Nonnie was here, we shopped the www for Little E's Christmas gift. Everywhere we went it was sold out or about double the "suggested retail value". We decided to venture out to Toys R Us to see if by chance they had one. PTL they did! Little E is now the proud owner of her own Learning Fun Laptop. It teachers her her ABCs, 123s, shapes, and colors. It's a fun little computer even though Elmo narrates! I told Nonnie it will be coming home with us at Christmas so she can enjoy his voice as well!

What a smart mom you are. Cuz and I will put the breakable ornaments at the top of our tree as well.

I love the picture of Little E looking at the tree. So sweet! We had our first ornament fatality today. Hannah bumped into the tree, and a bulb broke as soon as it hit the hardwoods.
