Marble Works

Back in the day Brother had a set of Marble Works. These tubes with twists and turns, windmills, and strait sections to build momentum.  Drop one marble or 100 into the top of the tube and watch them race to the bottom. A great toy for imagination and some physics lessons I am sure. (Ha!)

I hadn't thought about MW for a LONG time! Until tonight.

We had a small group reunion. The precious couples we started meeting with over 2 years ago got together for dinner and conversation. It was a fun night to see what all has been going on. I love having friends that can pick back up right where you left off. No awkwardness. Just joy!

Anywho. Back to the point. The D's boys are grown and therefore toys are limited. But K does bring out a few toys and books when we are there. This weeks treasure? Marble Works!

The sound of the marbles (all 100 of them at once) going through the shoots brought back memories from my childhood. It was sweet. And I LOVED listening to her giggle out of giddiness. It was precious!

I do remember the Marble works. What I remember most is having to store it. It came in a good-size box and it was always difficult getting the pieces to fit back in. It did provide hours of entertainment and it looks like LilE had a grand time playing with it.
