8 Days and 8 Nights

That is how long our vacation was this year! Fabulous!! After such a long summer with nearly 3 weeks apart from JD in the weeks prior to our vacation, it was a MUCH NEEDED getaway! We are so thankful for friends who treat us like royalty by lending us their home!

This year wasn't much different in our activities than LAST YEAR (click to see). We spent hours on the beach. We went exploring and found shells, star fish, sea weed and jelly fish.

We played in the sand and built sand castles.

We all went to the "deep end" of the ocean to enjoy the waves.

JD and LilE flew the kite.

We saw the cloud covered sun rise...

...in our pajamas!

And just played and played and played!

And even got into her little pretend world and began to sing and dance in the water.
