Senior year. 1986 Buick Century has seen it's better day. We visit Troy Aikman and he hooks us up with a 1993 Geo Prism. I am in heaven with a 3 year old car!
Fast forward 13 years. Daddy is now the proud driver of the Geo. No A/C (praise the Lord for a cooler summer), no speedometer (do you see a theme with our cars?), and a less than attractive paint job. BUT, it is paid for and it still can get us from point A to point B. And that is what it is really needed for, right?
Not sure if I mentioned it this year, but Daddy coached soccer again this past spring. As a thank you, one of the players' dad said he wanted to paint the Geo as a thank you...for FREE! And while he was at it, he put new freon in the car. Really, that is all that it needed?
We praise the Lord for continuing to provide for our needs (and luxuries too)!

God is good! That is such an awesome story! Glad you got a "new car" and some freon:)
That's wonderful! It looks much better!
How exciting! That is so nice!! :) Looks great too!
What a great treat from a parent!!
How awesome! What a sweet thing for that parent to do for you guys! I think that is also a testament to the job your husband is doing and that he is obviously touching lives!
Praise the Lord, but I have to say that the best thing about that car is not the paint. :) It is the TEXAS flag plate on the front of the car. And then the paint comes in a close second.
Seriously, praise the Lord for His gifts!!
