Strawberry Fields
I know I have mentioned before that in Texas we did not go apple picking. Well, another new first happened today...strawberry picking! I love going to the produce stand and picking up a fresh quart. Today we decided to get out, on the hottest day so far this year, and pick our own! I do have to say, it was not the most fun, but the strawberries are so good! All 2 gallons of them! We ate a ton, sliced and froze some, and the rest has been made into freezer jam! So good!

WELL WE have tasted it and it ROCKS! I gave some to William this morning and he said that was too good for toast..he wanted to eat it with a spoon! HA
YUM!!!!!!!!!!! I went pickin' with my mother-in-law and loved the challenge of finding the perfect ones! We love strawberries!!!
Good looking strawberries and what a sweet pic of LilE! Which the weather had allowed us to do some picking. Maybe next time.
