While grocery shopping the other day, LilE saw a big bin of popsicles--the ones you have to take home and freeze. She said she wanted some. How she even knew what they were is beyond me. We have never had them in our home. Since they were only $2 for a 25 pack, I said sure. She wanted one right when we got home. I had to explain to her that they had to freeze and we would eat one on another day. Since it is pure sugar, I never brought it up again. A couple of days later she asks if she can have popcorn. I am confused. We rarely eat popcorn and she doesn't really like it. After she asked a few times I then asked her to show me. She walked straight over to the freezer and opened it and said "see, popcorn."
After she picked the blue one she wanted, we headed outside, where all popcorn, I mean popsicles should be eaten and taught her how to get it to come out.

How cute! Looks so tasty!! :) Glad she didn't get it all over herself!!!!
Cute story! T$ asks for them every time we're at WalMart. I just keep telling her that we'll get them "next time."
I heard their were some low-sugar italian ice type of popsicles(that look just the same) for sale at teh Dollar Tree. Might try those.
Looks like she thoroughly enjoyed her popcorn! So funny she calls it that. Do you have any idea where she got it from??
for this DYE FREE house those are like my WORST nightmare!
What a wonderful treat on a very hot day. Messy? Yes! That's why we have washing machines! Enjoy, LilE!!
so fun!
We like the banana pops - generic brand for 12 double-pops (which we split in half for the boys) run about $2-$3 bucks....and no dye. Boys love it and they fit into my diet!!
I found these ideas for homemade pops earlier and plan to try them sometime. Might help with the dye free issues!
