We did go to dinner at Don Pablo's, our favorite Mexican food joint in South Carolina. (Although there is an Abuelo's in Myrtle Beach. We may have to check it out!) It was tasty!! Good choice, Daddy. Little E was even able to partake the flour tortillas and rice. We then came home and opened gifts. I ordered Daddy's gift and somehow there was a glitch, so it should arrive Monday or Tuesday. For those who are squinting and can't tell what it is, it is a camera back pack to hold all our cameras and accessories. Once again, we have outgrown a bag.
Little E was now ready for bed, so off she went. We then had cake and ice cream...all in one! It was so yummy (too much milk for Little E--next year love). It was a homemade cake and Daddy said it could become his birthday tradition.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Sounds like a terrific birthday, except the part about you having to work, Kendra. But I'm glad y'all had a good meal and a great cake. Happy Birthday, John. We are blessed to call you our friend.
John, Glad you had a great B'day and glad that Emma was able to celebrate this one with you! Notice that YOUR candles didn't set off the smoke alarm......Mark will never live that one down!
I definately would have stuck my finger in that cake...it looks yummy! I'm glad you had a great day, wish I could have been there. xoxo
