Our friends went to Hollywild (wild animals who used to be in movies--get it?) for the first time last year to check out all the lights and feed the animals. They said it was awesome. We wanted in on the awesomeness this year. We all piled into the Tahoe and were on our way.
The lights were fun. Tons and tons of lights. No pictures, so you will have to check it out on your own.
The animals were fun to feed. Well, all but the crazy cows. I like the little deer and zebras and emus. But those cows. You know the saying that "everything is bigger in Texas"? Well, it's not true folks! Those cows were so stinkin' big. Their backs were as tall as the Tahoe and half the width. Huge. And they can smell a cracker a mile away. And then they stick their whole head in the car to get said cracker. And slobber all over you. Just gross. Our family rolled up the windows. The Brooks thought it was awesome. So we let them do all the feeding while we laughed and made comments about how disgusting the cows were. And then we would move onto more deer, and the cows would follow. Hilarious.
After feeding the animals in the car, we headed into "Santa's Village" feed a few more hoofed beasts. It was a blistery 27 degrees out, so we quickly headed back to the car and had some yummy hot chocolate.
Fun night. Fun friends. Love the holidays!

I've lived here my whole life and I never knew that was where the name Hollywild came from. Very interesting.
Wow. Y'all are brave. It looks like T$ is about to be bitten by that camel. LOL.
