Great Outdoor Day

A couple of Christmas' ago I received the book Every Day a Holiday by Silvana Clark. I love the book, but sometimes it is hard to plan activities around a family of three.

This summer I am keeping three other children once a week. I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to put the book to use. This week was our first holiday-Great Outdoor Day.

We had a scavenger hunt and played several sponge games. It was a quick morning, but we hyped it up and J and LilE loved it! Maybe next time we can venture out a bit more with crafts and cooking to go with the theme.
