Last Day of School

I cannot even begin to tell you how fast this first year of school flew by. I seriously thought we just started. But it was such a great year!! We loved, loved, loved Mrs. T! She is such and incredible teacher and a perfect fit for my girl. She will be missed next year for sure. But I bet we will make an appearance or two in her classroom after school on occasion. I also loved that LilE was able to make some new friends. She was the only one in her class who attends our church, so lots of new faces. She loved the other girls in her class. We are hoping to get a little play date together before the summer ends.

For the end of the year party, I made THESE fun in the sun cookies for her classmates.

LilE had a party day that last Friday. We had a mini picnic full of sugary treats. And took a few pics with the girls (and H).

Since it was our first official year of school I wanted to do something special to ring in the summer break. When LilE arrived at home she found this waiting:

She was able to run through and break the banner! She loved it!

Unfortunately, I was not able to take photos. My camera decided to break at the party--and before we got a good picture with the teacher. Ahh!

But here is the best we could get with the iPhone. Oh Mrs. T how we love you so!!
