Eggstravaganza

We have some great friends. And they have great kids. A group of middle school kids decided they wanted to have a community egg hunt this year. And they wanted to do it to share the love of Jesus with everyone. They planned and planned. And even opened it up to all the preschool families at church. Our afternoon was free, so we headed out in the sunshine to enjoy the day.

LilE was greeted by the girls and immediately found some friends to play with. Once the organization started, they told the "Easter story" using the Resurrection Eggs. (We had been playing with them at home which made LilE listen even more. They are AWESOME!) It was so great how the MS girls got the kids involved with telling the story.

They then headed to the backyard for the egg hunt. LilE was timid at first but in the end she hit the jackpot!

They also played some games and decorated cookies. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon with some old friends and meeting new ones. Thanks girls for all you did to make this a special day for my girl.

What a nice experience for both the the youth leaders and the recipients. It looks like fun was had by all with eternal rewards!!
