Trick or Treat

Shortly after LilE started watching Disney movies I realized all about this "vault" Disney is talking about it. Well, if you are a parent of a preschooler, it stinks! There are several movies that I wanted to add to our DVD collection, but they were "locked in the vault" and therefore unavailable (for years). Therefore I learned to buy them while there were out of the vault. Every time something new comes out on DVD, we buy it. Even if it is not appropriate for her to watch at the time (i.e. Peter Pan at 2 years).

Snow White was released at the beginning of October (or around that time). We picked it up probably that first week. And, fast forwarding throught some scary parts, we let LilE watch it. The week we were in Texas and doing breathing treatments twice a day (another post for another time) we watched Snow White 2-3 times a day. Seriously. Call me a bad Mom. Whatever. You know you have done it too.

I was wanting to add some non-princess items to her dress up wardrobe with her halloween costume, but since she was in love with Snow White, I decided to surprise her with the dress. She loved it. And the sparkly red shoes that match.

Our church did not have a fall festival this year and we therefore headed out to see what other churches were doing on such a rainy night. We played some games inside, ate dinner, and loaded up on the candy. We then stopped off at a couple of neighbors houses to show off our little princess before calling it a night.

You get five pieces of candy!!
