Texas Brunch

Daddy once again has headed to the Amazon on a Medical/Dental mission trip. He loves going and will hopefully enlighten us all with a post (I think the trip photographer took around 4,000 pics. I thought 700 was a lot!).

But while Daddy is away, LilE and I will play...at Mimi and Pop's! We headed out after school on Friday and stayed the ENTIRE week! We loved having family at home every day. It made Daddy's time away pass much faster.

Saturday Nonnie and Rudy and Duke came down for the afternoon. We enjoyed a nice brunch with them. We hated we were not able to spend time with the rest of Daddy's family. But only 2 months until Christmas!

Pop had a special surprise for LilE. He made her a monkey swing. Growing up I always had one in the backyard. It is just a piece of home. Mimi and Pop moved a couple of years ago and had not put a new swing in the new backyard. Now that LilE is old enough, Pop made a swing just for her. She had so much fun. Unfortunately, it rained most of our trip (or was super muddy). Hopefully we will be able to enjoy it some more in December.

Brother and Elle also came down for the day and brought the dogs. Even though LilE was a bit timid thinking they would run her over, she loved playing with them.

LilE refused to take a picture with Brother, but she was COMPLETELY smitten with him all weekend. She wanted nothing to do with anyone but him. Oh, the uncle love!
