Last Minute Visit

Pop called us on Tuesday to let us know he would be in Charlotte for a business meeting on Wednesday and Thursday. While he was "in the area" he wanted to stop in and see us. He was not scheduled to arrive until 6pm, which would put him here around bedtime. Therefore, he went standby and got on an early flight! YEA! It is the little things that he does that shows me how much he loves me (and his precious granddaughter)!

We enjoyed our dinner out, showing off the dying garden, and playing a game of Candy Land. We are excited it will only be 10 days between visits! And Mimi is coming next time! Can't wait for more playtime!!
