It's a Blizzard Out There

Who would have thought the month of March would have been kicked off with a near blizzard? At least for this part of the country! Sunday night church was called off, but that didn't keep us inside! We headed to spend the evening with some friends. LilE loved playing in the snow with the big kids.

They looked so cute warming up in front of the fire.

After playing inside and out, we headed home. This is what we found when we got home! Argh! More of our tree down! Now it really is time to call someone. The next time it falls it will hit the house!

We headed out the next morning to play. The snow had been sitting long enough that it wouldn't pack. Therefore no snowman or snowball fights--bummer! I think LilE is like her Mommy and Daddy--we love the spring and summer!!

Check out the gutter! Yes, it is frozen!

The snow is really pretty, but like you I really enjoy the warmer seasons. I remember that I had planted more than 300 begonias in early April of 2007, when we got a snow just before Easter. I was so worried that my planting was going to be in vain. Fortunately, they weathered the snow!

Man, that looks really cold, but like it would be a lot of fun!

I was so jealous, because we didn't get near as much as the Upstate. Of course, the year we move, we miss out on the big blizzard! :)

We heard about all your snow as we watched the weather on TV...I love the pictures! Fun but cold...and too bad the tree had to break again!
