Our small group was reading Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore over the holidays. Daddy and I finished up while we were in Texas. Not only is the story amazing, but the setting is in Ft. Worth--our old home. As they would describe different areas of town or the mission where they met, we felt like we were there since it is "home."
We decided while we were in town we wanted to drive by and see the new mission and chapel. It was amazing to drive by, see all the homeless, and realize the importance of the work that is being done on the inside. Lives are being changed! If you have not read the book, I challenge you to pick it up. You will laugh, cry, and realize what a difference you can make.

So funny, I am sure I read this when you posted it, but since I had not heard of the book then it didn't mean much to me. It's much different knowing what I know now from reading the book! I am glad you loved the book too!
