The Rose Garden

When I was in High School, my Nana and Mom (Mimi) would take me with them to The Rose Garden Tea Room in Arlington. It was a ladies only day to be waited on with all the atmosphere. Twinkle lights on ficus trees, lamps, warm inviting garden decorations, and most importantly great rose tea and lunch! This place holds a very special place in my heart. It will always be a place I remember going with Nana (who passed away in 1998). Mom and I still made the occasional trip to Arlington just for lunch. This Christmas we planned to have a special girls day--Mom, Elle, and me. Elle had never been so I suggested we head that way. It has not changed. Decorations, menu (literally, the same one), and the food--all perfect, just as I had remembered.

I used to go there with my mom. I love that we have the same memory! It is such a special girly place. I hope to get there again one day!
