Nonnie's Day

Thursday we headed to see Nonnie and family. It has been a year since we have seen any of Daddy's sisters. It was WONDERFUL to see them and their families and actually spend some time with each of them.

Friday was a day we spent just with Nonnie. We went to Nonnie's school, took pictures, ate lunch, went shopping, and ended the day with the train set up at the local museum and Christmas lights at the university in town.

I really enjoyed all the train stuff. It was amazing to watch all the trains and lights and people. At then end of the show they turned down the overhead lights and lit the city. Too bad we didn't take the tripod. That would have been fun. Can you believe it took 13 weeks, working all day every day to set it all up? Dedication. LilE enjoyed the first 10 minutes, then she checked out.

As for the Christmas light drive through, she was able to stand up and view the lights through the sunroof in Nonnie's car. Doesn't feel quite like Christmas when it is 60 degrees at 8pm.
