A Hat and Gloves Christmas

Bec is so creative! Not only did she pull off Christmas at the Stable, she also invited us to a Christmas Tea (boys included)! We were all to wear our hat and gloves to the party! We were also to prepare either a poem, piano piece, or vocal piece to share with the other guests. Good thing a poem was an option. I don't sing or play!! It was such a fun morning. Homemade cinnamon rolls, hot tea (or Dr. Pepper for Daddy), and good entertainment. Shel Silverstein made an appearance by Jess, Bec played the first Christmas song she had ever learned, Rudy and fam sang Jingle Bells, I read a Christmas book, Daddy quickly wrote up a Dr. Suess type poem (to match the outfit he pulled from Nonnie's closet), LilE sang Away in a Manger, but the star of the show was Nonnie!! I wish I had taken the video camera. It was priceless. She wrote a poem complaining that she had to bring a poem, played Daddy's hardest piece on the piano, and then sang a song she found in the piano bench at her house. Who knew she was such a character?!?
