Please pray for my sister in law and her family. They are in Houston (Cypress) and we have not heard from her due to down lines, power, etc. You can catch her pre-storm updates here.

We finally heard from Rach via text. They are okay, just lots and lots of water! Thanks for praying!

Hey Kendra! I saw that you posted a comment on What's for Din Din - I'm definitely going to check out your other website...who doesn't need new recipe ideas! I've never met you at church, but see you a lot and was also in Mom to Mom with you last year. I will make sure and introduce myself next time I see you.
I will definitely pray for your family in the Houston area. I'm watching it on the news right now and it looks pretty scary.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Thankfully Rob got a text message from my parents this morning before the cell towers went down. They live in Tomball (not too far from Cypress). They said it was a lot worse than they thought, but they were okay. They went to their hurricane shelter around 12:30 last night. They are in a new house and the pool overflowed and the gutters are draining into that area, so the water is getting closer to entering the house, so they were a little worried about that. They also found some windows that leaked, but nothing too major--thank the Lord! Anyway, I hope your sis-in-law is okay! Keep me posted.
