Brother and Elle were able to come out and spend the weekend with us for the first time since LilE was 3 weeks old! We were so excited to have them come for a visit. I really miss having them around. We can't wait to spend extended time with them at Christmas! You guys are so fun! (and I am not being sarcastic!)
They arrived LATE Friday night. We got up Saturday morning and headed downtown to check out the Market. I think I will enjoy heading down earlier in the summer next year for fresh fruit. The weather was perfect!

While downtown we went on a scavenger hunt looking for the Mice on Main. We are super sluths and found all 9 without using the cheat sheet! Guess five pairs of eyes gave us an advantage.

We then stopped by Falls Park and had a picnic lunch before heading over to the water park of sorts. LilE had a blast playing in the fountains!

Back home for naps all around before heading to our neighborhood pool party. Not so fun, but free dinner. Who would have thought the water would be so cold in August?
Sunday was typical church day in the morning. Well, almost typical. Promotion Sunday did not go as smoothly as I had hoped, but we all survived. LilE did not like all of us leaving her. I heard her cry until I entered the santuary. Hopefully and prayerfully next week will be better.

So glad they got to come up for a visit! I miss seeing my niece and nephew so much...they just grow up and we miss all the good stuff!

Looks as if you all had a wonderful weekend. So glad to see you all having such fun. Love the pic of both my children. Don't let the distance come between the family relationship! Wish I could have been there to hear the little "squeals" of laughter. Miss that part a lot.
