Yes, I am a few weeks behind. Dell, I shake my head in your general direction! Thanks to Chris for allowing us to borrow a computer to check the basics while ours is still sick.
Mimi and Pop came in for the holiday weekend. It was so beautiful the entire weekend!! Absolutely perfect! Friday evening, Daddy and I had a wedding, so Mimi and Pop got a nice evening alone with Lil E.
Saturday we played around the house in the morning. Mimi and I got to shop a bit in the afternoon and after nap we headed to Freedom Weekend Aloft. We got there right as the balloons were filling up. Lil E enjoyed watching them take off right over her head.
One amazed two year old!
Sunday was a church day. We ended the evening with a little birthday celebration for Mimi! It was so great to spend time with her on her special day!
Monday morning we headed to the zoo and packed a picnic lunch.

So good to see your parents!! They look like they are doing well and I know you enjoyed having them in town! Lil E is sooo adorable!! Does she get cuter every day?? If she wants to marry an older man some day, I have a super cute nephew... :) That would be cRaZy!
I would have loved to see your parents when they were here. So glad they got to come for a visit. Looks like you had a lot of fun and were productive at the same time!
We did have a wonderful weekend with everyone. The weather was perfect and it was wonderful to experience the hot air balloons and the zoo animals through the eyes of a 2 year old. (It has been a long time since we had the opportunity.)
I love the picture of E and your hubs "swinging" your dad... TOO cute!! Looks like you all had a great time! I love getting to spend time with family too.. wish it could happen more often!
