"The Books Kids Love to Read"

A couple of months back I went to an Usborne Book party at the home of a dear friend. Little did I know that two months later I would be an Educational Consultant (that sounds so official) for this great company who desires to educate children while putting the family first!
Can I tell you how much I love these books? They are so much fun! We originally started off with Find the Kitten. A friend gave it to us as a shower gift. We also received Ted in a Red Bed. Lil E loves the lift the flaps. At the party at the 'boys' home I actually won Beauty and the Beast. The pictures are beautiful! And I also bought Fairy Tales. It is a combo book that has 6 classic books inside, dual level reading (short for the young toddler and also a longer, more detailed version), cute pics, and a duck on every page. They also have great books for kids up to 12 years. When I signed up, I received ten of the top selling books! How great a deal it was! Lil E is already reaping the benefits!

One thing Mimi has always told me (and I have heard it from countless others also) is to read and talk to Lil E. It is how she grows her vocabulary and learns to talk. It is essential and reading is great bonding time with her. We read books over and over. She loves the repetition and knowing what is going to happen next.

Here is my plug: If you and your kids would like free books, you can host a party for me if you live in the area (because I am new, you can get DOUBLE the free books if you host a party by June 24th). If you don't live in the area, you can host an "eShow" and still get free books! You can also look and buy here. Let me know if you would like more info.

Hey, that sounds like an amazing deal. What better thing than to read to your kids and can you actually have too many books? My question--do YOU get anything if I sign up because I'm thinking about signing up and would love to help you out if that would? I know a ton of teachers and a lot of people in our SS class might be interested. Never heard of this kind of "party" before either. Cool--thanks for sharing. Let me know!

I agree with Kama- it sounds awesome! I'll have to check it out more and I'll let you know if I have any questions. Don't guess you'd want to come to Penn. for a party, huh?
