For Daddy's birthday we decided to do a date night, just the two of us! (It's been a long time!) A sweet family in the church asked if they could keep Little E so we could go out. We went to see a movie, the first time since The Chronicles of Narnia (I know, we need to get out more, but movies are so dang expensive!). We decided on Juno based on critic reviews and Elle said it was one of her new favorite movies. It was good; different, but good. The writers did a great job telling it from the high school kid's view.
After the movie we planned to eat at T.G.I. Friday's, but that didn't happen. I will refrain for the long story. We ended up grabbing Schlotzsky's on the way back to pick up Little E.
Cold Stone gives free ice cream on your birthday. That was one tasty treat we shared!
We were able to go have dinner out as a family later in the week to make up for the dinner lost on his actual birthday!
We have enjoyed incorporating birthday week into our family! And February is birthday month! Nothing like an entire month to celebrate!
