It was a steamy 79 in the Upstate on Monday. Perfect weather for a trip to see...Santa?
Little E did just what I thought she would do--point to and say 'Santa Claus', let Mommy carry her toward Santa, bury her head in Mommy's shoulder, scale Mommy as she starts the hand off, then Daddy comes in for the save. She sits down with Daddy and he tries to calm her while she gets to know Santa. Santa even gives her the going away gingerbread man early. One shot. And it works for Mommy.

Knowing from experience, it will get easier. Comparing little E's precious Santa Photos year to year should reveal the victorious progress. Hang in there - it's worth it!
Just want until you see what I have displayed at home. It's your 27 month picture with Santa!--At least E is not screaming!! Too sweet (both your pic and hers)
I love it! She's all "Stranger Danger!"
WOW! AWESOME Santa! Funny to look back on those--Your Mom tempts us EVERY YEAR with the famed Crying santa pic....I think you owe it to your readers to share!! :) Thanks Mimi!
We went and saw the same Santa (but on Tuesday). I ate the gingerbread cookie (obviously Stella's not quite old enough yet)- THANK YOU SANTA, IT WAS YUMMY:)
I'll try to get K to scan it while they are home and put it on the blog. It is priceless--every parent's dream picture to hold over their child for a lifetime!
Very nice. You can see just how much fun she's having! ;) At least she looks really cute and Santa isn't too fat so he doesn't have to go on a diet. Did he say "Ho Ho Ho" or "Ha Ha Ha"? I know we're not Down Under. (I'm a nerd, I watch Good Morning America every morning. I remember when we were in the dorm, you guys would watch The Weather Chanel every morning when you got ready. Weird. Okay, random.) Ben sent me some "crying" Santa pics he got yesterday and I sent them to my school yesterday. They were pretty funny. This is long. :)
K--that was so random! B loved the weather channel so we watched it! Santa didn't say either. He just asked Little E to tell her about the baby doll she wanted that is wearing a red dress. Little E is reaching out toward Daddy. He was standing to her right. Obviously. Right after they snapped the pic...TEARS!! She just sat there crying. I told the picture taker girl that this one was perfect! I couldn't let her suffer anymore. She was a trooper!!
