Lately Little E has not been an apple eater. Last fall she loved going to Sky Top Orchard because we would pick an apple and she would gnaw on it the rest of the time we walked around. (So sad that the late freeze made the orchards all around lacking in the apple producing category.) Recently when I have given her a slice, she would look at it and then throw it down on the floor or just leave it on her tray. Last Wednesday night, my friend DMV used an apple for her parenting talk. Little E was interested in it. DMV asked if she could have it. I made some comment like, "Sure, but she won't eat it." Who knew...She did. And a lot of it at that!
The nasty looking brown spot on top is the stem. Fortunately she didn't get to any seeds! If she did she might have had apples growing out of her ears!

That sure looks like a good apple! David loves pears right now. If "E" grows apples and David grows pears we'll have to get them together!

It was so good to hear from you! I loved seeing all the pictures of Emma. I can't believe how big she is!! Let's stay in touch and yes hopefully we can plan to get together VERY soon!
