Last Trip of the Summer

We headed out to Charleston for our last official summer outing. So sad. But we had a nice and relaxing time with friends. We drove down late Thursday night. Little E was so excited about the 'do' (aka dog named Gracie) it took her forever to wind down. We are talking after midnight! (And she didn't sleep a wink on the way down either!) We got up the next morning and just hung out around the house. Daddy took his feel good pills and slept until late afternoon (he hurt his back somehow last weekend). After he got up and B got home from work, we headed downtown for dinner at Bocci's, followed by dessert at Kaminsky's. Yummy! And then we old folk called it a night around midnight.
Saturday we got up and packed up, headed to Whirlin' Waters to beat the heat! The girls had a fun time sliding over and over and over! We ate at the park and played some more. When nap time came around we loaded up so Little E could sleep on the way home. She was out before we hit the highway!
It was a short trip, but it is always good to spend time with good friends!
