Out of Wack...

Our computer has this problem that Dell is fully aware of. We had had the laptop about a year when it randomly started to overheat and shut off. To alleviate the problem, Dell sent a guy out to replace the fan. About a year later it did the same thing. In October, once again. And here we are again! I guess it is cheaper for Dell to keep replacing the fan than to replace the entire computer. Seems like we got the short end of the stick! Last night I was trying to send out an urgent prayer request for a friend in our SS class and I swear I turned the computer on 6 times and it would shut down as I was about to hit send! AHH!! So tonight I am on Daddy's church computer to let you know if you have anything you need us to know or any questions to give us a call! That is our only form of communication (unless you want to send snail mail! ha!) for the time being.

Also, pray for our sweet Little E. She had her first fever tonight. Not sure what is going on. She has been really snuggly all day today and was hot after her afternoon nap. And sure enough, she was officially hot. She has been running around again after her Tylenol. Pray for wisdom for us to know what to do and when. Thanks!! Love you all!

Sorry about the computer issues! Never any fun!

Anna just had her first fever this week... no fun for them or for moms!

Praying for our precious Emma to be made well and for wisdom for you and John to know what to do.

I'm praying for healing for Emma and the computer. Kendra, you have a wonderful way with words. Send Dell a letter. I'm always amazed by the power of the written word on paper--and that's not just my professional bias. Computers--it's a love-hate relationship.

Kendra:

Hi. I’m at Dell Headquarters in Austin, Texas and I just came across this post. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having so much trouble and would like to see what I can do to help.

I did see the part that said phone was the only means of contact since your system isn’t working but can’t find your number. Given your last names and the fact that it says you've lived in 12 different cities I wouldn’t be able to find your profile. If anyone reading this is happens to talk to Kendra, please mention it to her. Thanks.

WOW! You got a response from Dell. I didn't get a response from Target when I complained about them on my blog. :)
