Mr and Mrs...

Happy tears?? This is where there were lots of happy tears. Mommy's brother and bride were married on Dec 30th! I have been looking forward to this day since February! Brother proposed to SIL late last winter. Totally unexpected! He took lots of childhood pics of each of them and then pics of them together and created a black and white bound book. And the last page?? A picture of the ring. Too great! So she said yes and the big day has finally arrived.

Thursday night all the girls got together for a girls night in. It was fun to hang out and get to know the girls better, especially since SIL was the only one I knew. The girl time continued on Friday as we headed to Beaumont Ranch for a spa day. Mani, Pedi, and a full body massage!! Perfect! The weather was really stormy. Late in the day we heard about the tornado WARNING. Scary! The S's (including Daddy and Little E) even went down into the storm cellar...okay, just to the interior of the house, but the tornado was about 9 miles from mom and dads. No worries. Rehearsal dinner was really nice. Mimi did a great job decorating for that. We had a "share time" after dinner and I was crying too hard to even say anything nice. Oh well.

Wedding day...what a fun day. We (the girls) got to the church around lunch time to start the primping. Brother and SIL decided to see each other before the 6 pm wedding. She walked the aisle about 4 or so. She said there was lots of laughing. I can't wait to see the pictures (even if it wasn't out in the courtyard!). The rest of the pictures started about 4:30 and we took them for about an hour or so. The ceremony was beautiful! (I couldn't listen to the song Come What May from Moulin Rouge. I cried during the rehearsal. Great song guys!!) They are such a great couple, inside and out. I am so proud of my brother and the choice he has made in a bride!
